Mackenzie Brown is an interdisciplinary performance maker who completed WAAPA’s Bachelor of Performing Arts in Performance Making with first class honours. Mackenzie has made work with DADAA, STRUT Dance and PVI Collective and worked internationally with the Intercultural Theatre Institute (Singapore) and IndepenDance (Glasgow). Working as a teaching artist with WAYTCo and ATYP Mackenzie has worked in regional, outer metro and carceral contexts. As a teaching artist, performer and maker Mackenzie’s work spans the full intersections of the human experience, it is underpinned by a belief in the power of arts for social change and positions creative practice as a tool for imagining new futures.
